this is a sing on one of the local motels. I like the use serif and san serif type in the same sing. the letter Z is particularly dramatic and it underlines the name of the the motel . I think the sign is an interesting shape -a diamond. It is different from the a lot of other signs of motels in Cedar and there are many in the is town.
I don't think the design on the bottom of the red rocks of this area is very effective and it is difficult to tell what it is from a distance. The sign itself has a retro 80's feel. The exaggerated Z is good because it integrates the two different typefaces together. The word Motel stand out because of the sharp lettering and the pointed slash design that divides the diamond in half.
