My alphabet is based on Johnny Appleseed.
I wanted it to look twiggy and sort of wild the way branches are.
My inspiration for my poster is based on Colin Lee's Dulce & Gabana. I wanted to include some flourishes, but not so many that it becomes overwhelming.
Since no one has commented on mine, I guess I'll have to start the ball rolling.

Hmmm....still wondering about the staggering of letters. Should they be more stepped like the Plant? D lines up with P, and vice-a-versa?
Is there too much foliage?
I do like the little seeds on the bottom and the texture of the letters and branches.

ReplyDeleteI dont think you need to stagger the letters. The word "seed" might look even better with some element stepped but I think it is looking pretty good already. It doesnt seem like there is too much foliage, if you make it darker it would be too heavy, but where it is light I think it works.
